Mama Noots Jaguar Lodge is a sanctuary where nature, outdoor recreation, relaxed living, and excellent dining inspire respect for Mother Earth. It is tucked away on 47 acres of pristine jungle in Belizes most recent Mayflower Bocawina National Park. Named after Nans great grandmother, a born naturalist, Mama Noots provides a serene setting far away from every day distractions.
Sleep in comfort on orthopedic queen-size beds, spacious rooms with garden entrances and vista of Antelope Falls. Take power naps in shaded hammocks. The lodge offers six double smoke-free rooms, and the duplex family cabana, with private baths include four queen size beds, two reading areas, and garden hang out.
We serve authentic Belizean cuisine with Mayan influences incorporating traditional herbs and flavors of the jungle. We grow most of the food and seasonings we serve in our gardens.
Mama Noots loving commitment to the supremacy of nature is energy conscious and attuned to her environment. Electricity is generated by solar, wind and micro-hydro. Our drinking water is collected from a spring in a canyon about one quarter mile up in the mountains. The water is treated, pure and unspoiled.
